As far as shopping lists go, my wife and i use "Out of Milk" seems to work well
timmmay:Microsoft Todo is cross platform, available on iPhone. MS Todo is fairly basic, but seems to get the basics right.
I've been using Todoist. Easy to use across different devices. Can label and prioritise your tasks.

Geektastic: Just explored Meister Task.
It will import from Wunderlist.
Good, but far too complex for me. It's designed for large teams where tasks need assigning etc like Agile working.
Expensive too but good if it does what you need.
I still can't see why MS bought Wunderlist just to shut it down: they should just have rebranded it.

They used it to make ToDo.
So...they have a really good product that lots of people love.
MS buys them and tells them to can it.
Nobody likes To Do - I read one support thread where frustrated cross-platform users were complaining about waiting over 2 years for a Mac OS app.
Yet Wunderlist has one...
WHy not just cross out Wunderlist in the title block, write To Do at the top and move on?

I like it, a lot.
I've been playing with TickTick more the past couple of days. I'm getting more impressed with it. It's really quite efficient in terms of clicks. It has heaps of features, like swiping to do different things to tasks like set due dates. You can set widgets as shortcuts to individual lists, or to add an item to a specific list. It's pretty nice. I still don't love the UI, but it's efficient and very fully featured.
I ended up deciding on TickTick. Reasons:
The pro version is a monthly fee to add features I don't need, US$27 per year. If they made it a "pay only" app with a subscription I might reconsider, but a "basic subscription" would be worthwhile.
