How would they know if you have purchased it second hand, if you have a copy of the original receipt?

 

 

It is increasingly common to have ones name on the invoice or in the retailers database. 

 

 

 

But people I guess don't have to provide that info to the retailer, but know that some do ask for it, and some don't. I think if the price is over a certain amount, the invoice needs those details.
