Finally got mine from Australia. Works great, including WiFi calling on 2degrees.

Tried to get an eSIM from the Spark store to activate on the phone, but it wouldn't work. The person at the store was bamboozled when I asked for an eSIM though, so maybe she just didn't set it up correctly.

I can't see any Parallel Importer with a physical store stocking such a niche and high risk product, so I'd imagine you won't find a display model anywhere.

Don't think there going to be no physical stock especially parallel shops directly import them with Samsung nz not coming to the party don't think it ever see one ... You just have to like your 3000 pH when u open the box lol

Via Samsung, or through parallel importing?

Officially, via Samsung and authorised Samsung dealers. There's a registration of interest page up on Samsung's site (and PB's) now. Added Samsung's link to post above.

As some in this thread have noted, given the nature of the product it's not really something you'd want to chance warranty on. Samsung are going above and beyond with the customer experience for this launch, more details coming soon etc.

Heh, I am wondering whether they will be handling my issue that my screen protector on my note 10+ is coming off already.

Re the Fold, as much as I love the concept, and as much as I love these new bleeding-edge concepts, for $3K+ I will very likely skip this particular generation.

Oh wow! I never thought it'd happen. I wonder if we're getting the 5G variant to coincide with Vodafone's 5G launch.

Let me know if anyone has questions regarding the Fold; I've had mine for about a month now.

My general impressions are that this is a very impressive and usable device, even if it's first generation. I kinda want to say it's like early OLED TVs or something; as long as you're concious of possible issues (burn in, or in this case the plastic inner display), them you're not going to have any issues unless you're an idiot. If you're a tech enthusiast then this is definitely the device for you.

Don't say things like that! I am doing my best to convince myself I don't want/need one :)
