My tracking status has changed from "received" to "processed at facility" Life is looking up!... And it only took 3 days 😂🤣😂

I literally just came on here to post the same thing!

Ordered my Pixel 5 from Dick Smith on 15th October (back when it was first listed as available.)

I got the Kogan Mobile SIM card after a few days, but the phone keeps getting pushed back.
Shipping dates changes twice, both come and gone, with $20 vouchers for each delay.
The latest has shipping for today 30th November, but now checking the website order it says "We're running slightly behind but you can expect to hear from us soon".

Hoping it doesn't get delayed again but I have a feeling it might.
Would be keen to know if/when others finally get their shipping confirmation

I just got an email from Dick Smith further delaying the shipping of my Pixel 5 from the 30th of November to the 14th of December. Frustrating. That's now the third delay. I wonder what's going on.

I must have been way down the Dick Smith order list because I was bumped back to 18th Jan 2021 by my third delay. My eBay order however, is waiting to get on a plane for NZ. Hopefully it doesn't have to wait too long. Three tracking updates so far, so it's at least making some progress.

Would love to hear any other sources apart from dicksmith?

I see expert info tech selling here in NZ? Are these AU version or? What about Kogan?

I need to get rid of my s20 plus and move to Google. Battery on my s20 is bad.

Dick smith seems to be the cheapest option. Kogan is the parent company of DS right? So just the same stuff under a different name?

By the looks of it, the Expert Infotech Pixel 5's are parallel imported models that are not from Australia. I think the AU model number is GTT9Q and Expert infotech is showing GD1YQ

Dick Smith/Kogan are selling them again as a Pre-sale item (in a first come first served basis). Not shipping until Feb 1st 2021 though!

Maybe with Kogan buying MightyApe we'll see them selling Pixels locally in the future?

I have a 4XL that has decided to do the "Half my battery is flat" trick ( I love the phone but that battery...)

I need my Pixel 5!!! ( Kogan say the 14th Dec for me but thats the 3rd movement of delivery..

I just saw that Kogan bought Mighty Ape. I can only hope that will mean that they will start carrying local stock of Google Products. But yes if google could just sell in New Zealand that would be epic.

After all they DO know where New Zealand is, I just found us on Google Maps...

Oh wow, I was wondering if they had any stock to ship!
How many delays/$20 vouchers did you get before it shipped?
Just had my 3rd delay email (15th December new shipping date.)

I had 3 delays/3 $20 vouchers. The previous update was shipping by the 14th of December.

It said in the email that you could only use one voucher per transaction, but I just tried and after adding the 1st and 2nd voucher I could use them in the same transaction. I then tried adding the 3rd and it wouldn't let me use that in the transaction.

Well my eBay bought/AU Post shipped pixel 5 landed in NZ at lunchtime today. It was sent from AU on the 25th of November, so has taken the scenic route to get here. Fingers crossed it clears customs fairly quickly and is possibly delivered before the end of the week!?!

Awesome news you guys are getting your Dick Smith Pixel 5's shipped earlier than expected . I wonder if my my last proposed shipping date from Dick Smith of 18th of January would have been shipped earlier as well? Maybe with all the delays Dick Smith ended up with a bit more stock (from people cancelling their orders), freeing up some extra units earlier than expected? either way, great stuff!

I wouldn't go anywhere near Expert Infotech, that place is 100% dodgy, no matter how cheap they are.
