I would love to see Samsung release a phone (probably an A model) with a screen 5" or smaller off the back of this - but it probably won't happen :(

I still have my LG G3 (now hardly worth selling ). Only replaced it last year. Still a great phone, except for poor camera & poor batt life .

So not a great phone now, then?

Phone yes : its still great as a phone .
Android, v6 : no updates, no security patches, batt life not good for watching Youtube vids  browsing interwebs etc .
Still outperforms my tablets (aprt from size & batt)

Motorolla phone I bought last year is slower , lower screen res (who cares) , poor camera , worse as a "phone" . But has regular Android updates/patches and good batt life .

:-)

Late to the wake.

Audio is the killer app for me on phones and LG V series is/has been the best I've experienced on that front. I imagine there will be refurbs floating around for a few years yet so all is not lost. Hopefully by the time my last quad DAC phone dies there will be new alternatives. Or my hearing will have degraded to the extent that it no longer matters 😝

RIP LG
