I note that three days in a row now my stock standard magic has updated maps, so obviously something is on a roll.

The voice instructions in the new hacked version are rare and typically just *after* they might have been useful. But.....the map itself works fine and saved me three times in the past 24 hours due to roadworks blocking my usual way of getting to some places.

I agree. The turn-by-turn navigation works well, but the voice prompts are way too late... also saw some "unknown street" as the motorway I was travelling on... way better than nothing. The thing is, I would gladly play for this as a fully functioning app from google...
