Bought the Samsung HDTV adapter for $50 from the Samsung container in the Restart Zone in Christchurch (store might be actually run by PowerStore or affiliated?). None left on display but apparently they have them stocked at the NZ Samsung distributor if you want to order one.
Adapter works with my Galaxy Nexus at work (model EIA2UHUNBE - marked as for for Galaxy S2 in store PoS system). Display is slightly cropped and OSD doesn't seem to have option to adjust width/height but probably just be because it is an old cheap ViewSonic VX2433wm)... will see if I have the same problem on a Sony TV.
Observations: * Sound works through HDMI (although plugging in 3.5mm jack instead works better than monitor speakers :) ) * ICS home screen turns sideways when HDTV dongle plugged in (looks really wierd at first, but makes perfect sense - wish I could do that all the time!). * Automatically turns on HDTV (No need to configure TV mode in settings like my old SGS with AV cable) * 720p mode * Powered by micro-USB (worked fine with normal cable plugged into PC). * Appears you can't use USB at same time (using lsusb on Linux, no device id shows up when HDTV adapter in middle). i.e. I don't think you could mount a USB drive at same time as using HDTV adapter - damn!
