Same here. Not working for me. Signed in with my existing amazon account. Updated my shipping address to my NZ address but still not working. Stink!

:( No luck on either my phone or tablet. Phone had the app store already installed and the tab got it fresh. I have both a US and NZ address with the NZ address set to primary.

it looked like amazon unintentionally activated their App store globally and quickly pulled it off.

to those who initially managed to download free apps, can you still download other apps at amazon app store.

I can install and browse, but I can't download apps. I'll try hooking it up to the VPN some time.
