Just to clarify, could you also use it to make phone calls with an appropriate headset or the like?

Reason i ask is the data plan i use when in Aus includes a heap of phone minutes that i usually use up before i come home. 50$ AUD from memory. But have managed to bugger the NextG Huawei S7 pad.

anyone know where in the Auckland city (CBD) has one I can look at? Preferably beside a 10.1 (not v as I already own this) and has anyone played with the Sony S tablet and have any comparative comments to make?

not sure if this helps but PB Tech in penrose has an 8.9 on display, as does PB Tech glenfield.

Harvey Norman Wairau had a 10.1 on display as well as the 10.1v (couple of weeks ago now), they also have a samsung demo booth that has the SGSII, the series9 laptop, the original 7" tab, and other samsung stuff on display/demo also

i havent seen any tabs on display in the CBD yet...?

bond and bond queen street have 10.1 -  seen them in store.

Wonder if PB tech have imported their stock? if so - i would be careful about that warranty!

PBTech's stock is from Samsung Hong Kong, all the official docs in the box confirm it (comes with HK and English manuals, box is marked with the Samsung HK site, etc)

PBTech's downtown store had both an 8.9 and a 10.1 on display on Saturday.
