I use case mate tough case. I bought it from Jb Hifi. Usually I prefer minimal case or cover but I was so concerned that I might drop it when txting in a rush due to the size. I love the fact that the cutout and buttons have perfect fit on it. Highly recommended.

Is there a radio baseband better than others for Telecom? I'm currently on the latest (XXLR1) but I was wondering if any of the older ones might be better.

Thanks.

Galaxy Note is quite a nice bit of kit (though gets a lot of stick from lookers on about how big it is).

Not sure when ICS for Note will be here in NZ but hopefully soon.

Case I got from USA is quite nice though adds a little to the overall size:

Looks like:

Good protection anyway

Looking at a note - any note owners tried out an S3 and have changed or do you still prefer the extra screen size of the note ? Hoping NL or Bond n  Bond have a 20% off sale so I can grab either a note or S3 for a descent price !

I have the Note - it's big, but hey, the large screen makes up for it. Perfect 2-in-1 device - a phone and a tablet. You can do alot of web surfing comfortably on the large screen.

Has anybody experienced this problem with their note?

Hadn't noticed it but I don't watch movies.

No idea why that is news, been known for many, many months now. Most users aren't terribly bothered by it.

Running CM9, want to unroot, what's the best method? The only two I can find are the unrooting tool, which doesn't work as it says Superuser permissions are denied, despite not getting the request, and then reinstalling stock Firmware, for which I can't find VF NZ anywhere.

Anything else?

It's actually quite easy. All you need to do is go into the Settings page -> Developer -> Root access -> Disabled.

Voila!

PS: Why do you want to remove the root access?

Wish I knew that prior to finding a stock firmware and re doing lol.

Guy I bought it off wanted it returned to stock and unrooted.
