freitasm: I would not like to exclude the lurkers. Sometimes I see a username who I never noticed before but checking the profile it's someone who registered eight, ten years ago, accessed Geekzone many times but just never posted. These are also part of the community, just like real life.

Fair enough :) thanks again btw.

Small timing update for those of a nervous disposition...

I ordered over the phone at around 9am yesterday, and got a confirmation email at around 1pm today!

Hopefully they manage to courier it for a Monday delivery! (Am I being overly hopeful? Probably.)

Any confirmation on whether or not the code is valid until end of November or not? Still somewhat reluctant to purchase without giving it a spin first...

You could probably sell it for $1050 minimum anyway so worst case scenario you lose $30(Give or take).

I am still in the same boat. Its a good deal no doubt, but the price is still on the high side given the specs. I expected atleast 18mp + cam and 4gb ram for this price from a high end flagship phone as of date ( keeping in mind what is out there in the market today, not making things up over-ly )

the codes expire on November 30. As per the email you should have received.

they will presumably be sending out the 128gb codes before the 20th, and they will probably have the same expiry dates.

I got mine in the first batch of e-mails. It states at the bottom:

*Offer ends 01/11/15, only available to registered Geekzone members who express their interest before the offer end date.  Usual handset RRP $1,199. $359.90 saving only available when you buy the Huawei Nexus 6P on an eligible Plan with an interest free mobile repayment (MRO). If you terminate or move from your MRO eligible Plan you must repay the full remaining balance on your phone. Plan and MRO conditions apply, see 2degreesmobile.co.nz

Ok, perhaps @2degreescare should clarify the expiry for these codes then?

This might be a little off topic, but does anyone know if the Nexus 6p will be compatible with Semble Mobile Payment?

I bought a Semble enabled SIM for my Nexus 6 and installed the app but after several weeks of emails they said that there were not enough Nexus devices to justify the extra development to make it work.

Now the Play Store says that Semble is not compatible with my Nexus 6.

I am guessing that the Nexus 6P will have the same problem.

Semble still uses secure element inside the SIM card. I believe the newer Nexus Phones (since N5) do not support it any more.

If Google roll Android Pay out to NZ then surely Semble will not be required?

That sucks I use semble on my M7 almost daily. I guess I will have to start carrying my wallet again.
