garvani: CyanogenMod 10 aka Jelly Bean is up and running on our phones.. Going to upgrade later tonight and see how it goes! There appears to be a few little quirks but for the most part everything is working! :D

Look forward to reading your experiences!

All installed.. Initial impression: WOW this is fast.. Its really my first custom rom though, i had customised my stock vodafone with new launcher etc etc.. But this blows it out of the water in speed.
Everything appears to be working.. Just to figure out why i cant hear google now talking back to me

I can't get google now to talk to me, if setup with NZ language and voice it can understand me perfectly, once i set it to English US it couldn't understand anything and i still get no voice back.
Default video player wont do my 720p videos i have on my sd card, default ICS app plays them fine.

Edit: 6:40pm: Have gone back to ICS.. theres no real showstopping bugs, but ill wait a few weeks for it to mature

I've written a quick guide on going from stock to the CM10 ROM for those that don't know how to

How to: From stock to Jelly Bean on your Samsung Galaxy S III

@motorwayne, it'll look the same and it will effectively feel the same

Going back to another AOSP ROM or Omega or another TW based ROM is as simple as following the second half of the guide and ignoring the context specific stuff. If you mean stock stock then I'm not completely sure

I know for the Galaxy S, you had to use a PIT file to re partition when going back to Stock from CM roms or ASOP roms, haven't come across any guide or reference for Galaxy S III yet.

How does one set it up with the (shudders) New Zealand language?

Under language settings, pick English New Zealand. And in the options of google now under voice, pick English New Zealand. It will then understand what you say, but wont talk back.

been watching the CM10 thread but unless you are happy that its really on beta I wouldn't flash right now. Keep an eye on the thread and wit till its more stable otherwise you may be disappointed. Maybe I'm just lazy but reseting and then having to getting everything setup again does my head in.
