Dear all,

I recently brought my Desire from Expert Infotech in Northshore a few weeks ago,
and i have not received my OTA notification yet for 2.2 update

It seems that some ppl that have brought from E Infotech has already got the update

Could someone please shed light on this?

HTC Desire A8181

2.1 update 1

Baseband version
32.41.00.32U4.08.00.09

Software Number
1.30.415.3

I don't know where my phone was sourced from also, it came with arabic manuals and the apps Al-Moazin, Hijri Calender, iQuran ( which i cannot uninstall but desperately want to ><)

Thank you
Warm regards

JRift

That's the same baseband and software version a friend had on his phone. He'd got his in Dubai. AFAIK, you cannot uninstall those apps. Rooting the phone and using a different ROM would be the way to go.
