timmmay: I use my credit card on websites all over the world, i've never had it blocked.
CM: Am currently investigating VPN options. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I use Unblock-us.com
Not a VPN based solution, just a DNS based, $4.99USD a month
Works really well, Netflix/Hulu streaming is almost instantaneous, BBC iPLayer does play, but encounters a bit of buffering
CM: Cool. So it works instantly on payment and downloading? Easy to set up?
Which ISP are you with? Does anyone know whether it makes a difference?
CM: Thanks justjay, great to get your comments. Let us know how it goes on the TF.
From what you say I assume the subscription enables you to run it anywhere (on as many devices/machines as you like)? Is it just a matter of downloading the software on whichever pc or tablet you wish to use it on?
timmmay: Unblock-us sounds good for netflix, I guess, but your traffic is still visible to the ISP. Not a problem for most people.
CM: Hi all - I assume we've all got the new firmware update (well two updates for those who have the dock)? .
CM: Let us know how P2P goes. I'm in the same boat. I just don't trust them to get it right.

Yip works fine. Checked using http://checkmytorrentip.com/# and it seems to mask fine. Only flaw is if the VPN is turned off uTorrent immediately starts seeding using your NZ IP address. Ideally I'd like it to just stop, but for my purposes its probably fine.
