networkn:

Well this WAP was purchased to try and fix what I thought were "wireless" issues in my house, and the coverage of this one is streets ahead of what I had before, and even the prior one didn't work well.

Worse I have a White s3 which belongs to my colleague and that isn't as bad with wireless.

Mine is no problem with Wifi :)

I have Linksys WAG320N - dual band and I must tell you that you'll need to set the setting right. Otherwise you'll end up with lower signal strength.

Set;
Broadcasting to: B/G/N Mixed
Range Channel to: 9->11
Frequency: 20Hz Standard
And everything else Auto.

Wide 40Hz resulting in shorter distance broadcasting and slower transfer rate (Mine anyway).
Set the Wireless N to 2.4GHz bandwidth. Set to 5GHz helped a little but will result more compatibility issues with the rest of your equipments.

Best piece of advise, change ROM or reflash it to fix Wifi kernel on your phone. :)

Cheers man, looks easy enough.

Re a 64gb SD Card, am I really going to have to fork out $100 for one? Or is there somewhere cheaper than, TM eBay and Amazon?

Just ah going to give the SD card request a bump

Be careful buying cheap SD cards, you will be lucky to get a quality one at a good price.

Now I also have a Targus Bluetooth keyboard connected to my S3 at work. Haha 3 keyboards on my desk. 1 for each computer and 1 for my phone. Loving it. And I only pay $38 bucks for the bluetooth keyboard, it arrived today from Acquires.co.nz

Not to mention I got a PS3 controller from Acquires for $8 as well + $6 50CDR. Awesome deal. Love the Timebomb deal aye.

Oh forget to mentioned that my GooseBerry Board running ICS is also here :D

Waiting for my Mini HDMI and I'm good to go :)

Techslut.

Truly.

Apparently the USB DAC that is coming to me only works with the US S3s, so that was part of it. Also been wanting to try out an S4 Krait device for some time too. Also, my fiance is after a phone upgrade and loves my S3 (so good when that happens, because the financial controller embraces the acquisition of the new device!).

Nice cover story. Actually its amazing how much women like the S3, I thought the bigger screen might have been a put off but not so.

Doesn't surprise me quite so much, considering how many women carry purses with them. The fact that the Note is quite popular with women still surprises me a bit, but puts the S3s size in perspective somewhat (I've actually seen more women than men with the Note around Auckland!).

I got the PS3 controller as well from aquire. But it is not Bluetooth one, it is wireless 2.4ghtz. Will it still work with S3? How?

If it's a genuine PS3 controller it is a bluetooth one (bluetooth transmits over 2.4ghz also).

It will work with your S3 unrooted via a USB OTG cable (cost a few dollars only to purchase), but limited number of games it will work with. Works with many more games, even those without native support for gamepads, if your S3 is Rooted. Check out my YouTube channel for demos of both connection types - search for "S3 connectivity demo" to find the wired demo video and you can browse in the channel to the other one showing Nova 3 with a PS3 controller wirelessly.
