mrgsm021:

It seems the tracking service for the courier service PB uses does not provide a timely/accurate update.

I received mine this morning and yet it was still showing 'processing at depot'.

LOL, yeah I have had this issue before - I remember when Ascent switched from a good courier to a cr4ppy one. I stopped buying off them.

Cheers - N

Ok, went to PB tech cos desperate. My favourite sales person is not there today which is probably why nobody texted me. The headphones are all sold out so they are swapping then for the pxc 550s. There is much stress related to fixing up the invoice but at least I have my preciousssss.

Anyone here ordered direct from Samsung as part of their trade-in deal?  Just wondering if Samsung have started sending out phones, I am still waiting for a call.  Tried calling them before and they said they would call back but nothing yet.  Seems weird that they cannot get the phones they manufacturer out as quick as the retailers can!

I won't be getting my phone today, but courierpost have said they should be able to let me have it tomorrow morning.

I wish I had a game of Rugby to watch tonight to at least keep my mind off the fact I don't have my new toy(s) since my projector hasn't arrived today either.

My Note9 from PB Tech seems to be branded with Spark, any idea whether I can remove that? I'm with 2degrees, would rather not have it lol.

Mine has spark branding when shutting down/turning on too.
Only ‘bloat’ I can find is the spark app which is easily removable.

My "Crown Bundle" arrived from pbtech today :) I got the blue 128gb. The phone looks really slick! Going to be a nice upgrade from my current Note 4. Can't wait to start using it, but I'm going to wait until the case & screen protector I ordered from amazon has arrived (7th Sept they said, but in my experience amazon usually beat their delivery deadlines).

I'm very chuffed with the bundled extras. Often times bundled extras are pretty low-end but theses extras are all excellent. I'm particularly impressed with the free $799 ear phones.

got mine yesterday and got things setup, this morning I changed the sim over from my old phone and decided to do the Android update immediately...is anyone finding the call volume really low?  I have the call volume set to maximum but it is still very low and hard to hear the other person speaking.  Unfortunately I am not sure if this issue was pre-existing before I did the android update because I hadn't made any calls before doing it...

Anyone else finding the call volume really low?

Congratulations to the proud parent.  There should be a clear case in the box that you could use until the amazon one arrives?

Thanks @landcruiserguy, Hehe I do like new gadgets. :P Yes I found the clear case but it doesn't seem like it'll protect much apart from scratches and fingerprints to the back of the phone only. I'm used to the likes of an Otterbox Defender on my Note 4, so would rather wait. I've ordered something similar to that.

@ettexor - that's not good. :( One of the things I've liked about my Note 4 is the excellent loud & clear calls, so I'll be very annoyed if this phone has a call volume problem. I just googled and there are quite a few threads on the subject relating to the S8, S9, S9+ & Note 8 but nothing so far on the Note 9. No real solution other than cleaning the speaker, but that won't apply to a brand new phone with no chance to get dirty and clogged... I'll report back when my phone is up and running.

Incidentally I'm quite impressed with the included AKG earbuds, way better than most earphones included with electronics. I'm thinking cable rub above the jack could be an issue though - it's just rigid plastic with no flexibility. Trying to find instructions for the controls but no luck so far. I'm guessing the middle select button answers and ends a call? Does a double click reject it like on some headphone controls, anyone know?

My PB bundle arrived this morning. For those still waiting here's a bit of phone porn. laughing Before I update it I'll check the call volume levels.

Heya. I had a pair of the Momentums lined up to purchase for $250, but it's not worked out (no-ones fault), if anyone else is keen to move their (ideally unopened) pair, I'd be keen.
