my 8GB arrived this morning, cost me $414 all up including shipping to NZ. very happy with it, much nicer than the GS2 I'm upgrading from, and so nice to have AOSP without having to work for it.
getting around -97dBm signal on 2degrees at my office, about the same as my GS2 got, will see how it fares at home, might have to try a telecom/voda sim to compare.

Awesome news. Did you use Youshop? If so what's the deal with Customs?? You obvisouly didn't have to pay the import charges (sweet!!), so interested to know a) what you declared (US299 or US314 (+ US shipping)) and b)How much Youshop charged for posting it to NZ.
I was just honest, it cost $312.99 all up for 2 day shipping on GooglePlay, When it arrived at youshop warehouse it asked for a value before mentioning shipping costs, so I put in $312.99, the box as it arrived has a declared value of $312.99 USD so doesn't seem like they factor in shipping.
I'd imagine if they were having a bad day and decided to scrutinize it they may ask you to provide a invoice for the extra shipping, but mine went through ok even though it was in customs for 2 days.
Steve113: I've just signed up with Shipito and chose the "individual package" option I need to update my google wallet. Please tell me where on earth do i find my Shipito address?!!!
mwilcox: Tried ordering 3 times but each time (after putting all my card and address info in) it would say the order was cancelled. Using the new wallet account/youpost method. Guess I'll just wait til it comes out here, the youpost threshold would have been pretty hit or miss anyway.
Had the same issue over and over again, with multiple cards. In the end I created a new google account, used my ASB card, and all went trough on first try .... sweet :) now to wait 4-5 weeks plus 1-2 weeks for youshop :)
Funny fact... lest than half hour after I ordered mine, google changed the expected delivery on the play store to 6-7 weeks for 16GB and 8-9 weeks for 8GB... yonks! Hope mine is still delivered in 4-5 weeks as it said in the cart :)
Steve113: anyone who is with BNZ - could you change your billing address online? Or did you have to contact BNZ to do it.
Don't think you have to change the card billing address .... It's enough to change the one in the google wallet :)
Some people have reported the transaction being rejected because the billing address in Google Wallet doesn't match the one held by the bank. This isn't that surprising since the billing address is sometimes one form of security and billing address on order not matching bill address given to seller is a common rejection mechanism. You probably don't need an exact match, but it wouldn't surprise me that if your billing address is Auckland, New Zealand and the Google one is Ohio or whatever, US; it will usually fail. It will depend on the bank, some may not care.
If you look at this Youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHkhp6BwnGo you can see when he says to set an alarm in 2 hours, the result shows a time of 18.25 and then the instruction, "Walk the dog " etc. I am assuming he is setting the alarm at 16.25. When I try the same thing,at 7.45pm, the time is not show, just the instruction and the alarm is set for 12.00 am. If I say "Set an alarm for 2 hours time" at 7.45pm I get an alarm set at 2.00am! Something screwy here, can anyone get this to work properly?
