I told it to go ahead and update, which it did, but after the update I didn't get anything else (I was expecting maybe something that told me what the update did or what was new).
Did anyone else get this? Anybody know what it's about?
Doesn't sound like a system update to me. Usually System Update will say there is an update waiting for you. My guess is just Samsung App update? Or software on Samsung Apps store update.
Nope, definitely not a system update. Was interesting because it didn't come through the Play Store like other app updates.
I just did a Google search and found some other people talking about it in the last few hours:

I wasn't getting asked for an update but I went into Samsung Apps (first time in....forever) and it asked for an update. I did it and it said the Samsung Push app was updated.

Hmm, the update I got didn't look like this, it definitely said "Samsung Account Update" and it just popped up on the home screen, I wasn't in the Samsung Apps app. In fact I've just gone in there now and it gave me the same pop-up in your screen shot, so it looks like they were different updates.

Ok, I went into my Accounts and sync > Samsung account and it does indeed ask for an update
Chex:DoggNZ: 2 Degrees ROM so I can use my phone as a Snapper card.
Is there more information on this 2 degrees Rom/Feature that enables snapper? I would not mind knowing how to use the NFC for snapper as I live in Welly also.
Interger I enjoy the PA Rom on my s2 but only as a dual boot I will give it a go after the JB leak thanks.
*Update: Just read through the XDA and Geekzone threads RE snapper sounds like alot of hassle to port it to a non 2deg setup with the sim and apis. Easier to place my snapper between phone and bumper case tbh haha just pretend as phone is that little bit bigger than s2.
