Lolbooks: YES THEY TOOK MY MONEY!

Now you have to wait 2+ months for delivery?

6-7 weeks lol + 1 wk from shipitto so 7 - 8 weeks

When you say they've taken your money..... Have they? My order went through but no money taken (yet) so assume they'll wait for it to come into stock before charging me. Says the order is 'pending' in G Wallet... Hope this is what others have/had?

Yes they charged my asb account.
My available balance got deducted 440 something from my original balance 10 minutes after placing the order does that solve your question? It also doesnt show google took the payment but they definatly charged it successfully

It's weird cause it says 'google won't charge you until we have shipped out' but seems like they charged beforehand :o very strange.

They don't charge you they put a hold on your cc for the transaction amount so your available balance changes but you won't see the actual transaction until the phone ships.

Thought so I contacted google through phone and they said that it's pending. It will be charged ONCE the phone has shipped. It's also to verify the card. Sorry for any misunderstandard

The first N4 on hits TradeMe.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/lg/auction-539164723.htm

$855 - $48 (TM Fee) - $441 (Phone and shipping) - $25 (postage to NZ) = $340 Profit (roughly)

This is also interesting, Ezi Shopping have "discontinued" selling the N4 after never actually selling it in the first place.

I got mine off TradeMe a while back but difference is mine came International I guess... ended up being to upgrade to 16GB for another $65 making mine $800 landed which in all honesty I have no problem with considering I just got the wife an iPhone 5 for a rediculous $1030 and personally the Nexus makes it look so boring!

Why didn't you order of the google play store? much cheaper but the only downside is the waiting times but I can live with it. I wonder how happy i'll be when the nexus hits my door o mg . . ..

Of course the other consideration in my view is warranty. How are people who purchased off trademe and google play going to get warranty work done. That's assuming the trademe phones have been purchased through play store.
Had anyone looked into the warranty on the N4. Is itan international warranty?

I think the main reason that causes the excitement is the price point and the vanilla android experience it's so sexy

Price point definitely is awesome and I know that in 12 months if I want to renew this phone it will be cheap enough to outright buy again... unless the Nexus 5 is just as awesome Cool

Truly what gets me is the performance... never had an Android phone just rip through stuff like it does and look so good while doing it~! Like I said stand it next to the wife's iPhone 5 and it easily keeps up in the few things that I have tried side by side.

The UI and interface is amazing as well. Android is truly a multi tasking device and is also true to it's word of being a mini computer. iPhone isn't. Try downloading a song and minimizing out back to play some games you can't it'll just stop the download. This is just to conserve ram (which apple is good at) but we want the apps open for multi tasking purposes *sigh* iPhone isn't really a smartphone TBH
