I really like my one x, but if I had to pay for it I would get the Samsung.

Games are overall slower on teh One-X, the camera is slower, although better in lower light. the battery is terrible on the One-X, have trouble lasting 12-13 hours! v1.28/29 will fix the battery, and hopefully the games. But the GSIII feels like a more quality device, and is actually a lot nicer looking in person!

I don't play games too much, so the one x is great for me.

Low light camera to me is more important, so I am happier with the one x.

Battery isn't perfect with the one x but I can easily get through a day on a single charge. The issues seems to be software related, so I wouldn't make this my single defining purchasing factor as it is bound to improve. I will load a custom rom this weekend and seem how things go.

The screen on the one x is amazing. I am sure that the s3 has a great screen too.

If I was deciding today, I would go for the best deal for the carrier I wanted - both phones are great so voting with your wallet makes more sense. There is always going to be a newer better phone around the corner.

Haven't seen a S3 yet, but what is this lag on the One X some of you are talking about, how are you inducing it? I can't get mine to lag. Not even whilst updating several apps. Something that was starting to grind my Desire to a halt.

I went from an iPhone 4S and noticed it straight away. Sometimes it was smooth, sometimes it lagged - the Telecom 1.26 version is worse than the Vodafone/2degrees 1.28 update. It happened when swiping between screens, double tapping the home button, or exiting the app drawer to the home screen.

I then played with a Galaxy S III and that is far smoother than the One X.

As corksta hinted at, its something you dont notice until you have a comparison. I'd barely notice the blue tint if I didnt have the One X next to the S3 screen, by itself the One X is a really great device but I feel it loses to the S3 in one too many places

Yeah totally agree. The One X is a brilliant phone, beautiful display, with a lot of well designed apps and widgets, but overall the S3 raises the bar.
