I'm on yakju as well, but still haven't received it... I've tried turning off WiFi, force stopping Google Services Framework, then turning WiFi back on and checking for System Updates, but nothing...

How'd you get it?
I have a yakju set as well. yesterday morning no update available but checked again last night and it was there ready to be downloaded and installed

Seems like they roll it out slowly even within a release. I guess if someone asked them they'd probably tell all about how they do it (provided it can't be gamed! eg. by serial number)...

Success! It just updated this morning. It downloaded via 3G so I'm all our of data and credit for the rest the month...

just got updated to 4.2.1 this morning. a lot more stable..but still not as stable as 4.1.2 i reckon. its quote choppy and slow. dont think it was a create update

I just got the 4.2,1 update also on my GN. Now it seems there is a bug in the News & Weather application (I think it's called Genie?) It now won't detect the current location for weather and I have to enter the city and it won't show NZ news as an option. It shows UK as a choice.

Anybody else notice that?

I agree, I've found 4.2.1 to be a lot slower than 4.1.2. Some things just take much longer!

That's very strange since I just checked on a factory fresh (well I factory reset it) Nexus S on 4.1 and it had the same problem.

And on my GN in the sports tab, all the sports news is UK stuff whereas before it used to be NZ sport mainly.

Give it a day or so then it should come right. Mine did this initially too after flashing it.

I found out what it was. The update had turned off Google's location service (Settings/Google/Location Settings). It only became obvious when I tried to use Google Now and it complained the location settings had been turned off.
