HTC have always had poor battery, really not sure why. It is probably the easiest part of phone manufacturing to get right and one of the most important, yet they continue to treat like a by product.

Not too sure on the S4 if the reported leaked images are true and the continue crap build quality.

So are you talking about the One, or the One X. Because I didn't think enough Ones had been released into the wild get a real user feel for whether the 2300mAh battery would make a difference.
In fact there are some reviews to the contrary.

Really want this phone. In white it's a beautiful piece of machine. But the price from Mobicity is stupid.

I saw the review from The Verge - it was reviewed yesterday and they said that the battery is quite average.

I am talking about the One and not the one x.

All due respect to The Verge they cannot make any comment worth a damn about the battery after 36 hours with the device, their review is a bit of a let down (as in their article, not the conclusion about the phone) - seems like it was clearly pushed to cream some hits before others pushed theirs out also. Brian Klug of Anandtech is being more rigorous with his review process and battery testing and he tweeted that his findings do not align with The Verge review comments on battery life. I know whose analysis I trust more.

ya fair enough..i would wait for more reviews as well.. I know Anandtechs reviews are a lot more thorough than any other site that I usually encounter. I would not really get a phone without checking out at least 4-5 reviews.

I have disregarded getting the Sony Xperia Z for quite consistently average reviews (screen and camera were below average).

This review seems to think the battery isn't too bad. Considering they had dull brightness on that screen, the battery isn't bad at all

Well after countless reviews and forum reading still not sure on this phone. The complete lack of a developer community is a little off putting too...
