jeffnz: Firmware updates on most android phones are very slow unless you go Nexus, unless of course you flash custom Roms then you never look back but its not for everyone.

Not talking about the frequency or number of firmware updates.

Just the shocking delivery method that can brick the phone and the poor quality of it when you manage to get it installed.

You can get an LTE capable I9305 from Fairbuy for $463 too, cheaper than some of the I9300 prices funnily enough!

I have no idea whether Fairbuy are any good though but they appear to be NZ based.

Ah its white! :D

They have mixed reviews and lots of issues on pricespy but dont seem that bad. I think they mostly dropship form asia I suspect. $30 postage but thats not so dissimilar to others. Theres one company that has cheap prices but charges $75 postage..!

I know I'd rather get the I9305 for the same price even if it's not from a bricks and mortar shop, I assume you still benefit from CGA from places like expansys/mobicity?

After buying the P500 from a B&M store and getting poor support I'm not keen on repeating the experience for an lower model...  Expansys looks good...

The CGA would apply if they had a corporate presence in NZ, these are offshore entities and therefore are not subject to NZ statutes.
