The specs page on Samsung NZ's website seems to only list the Black fold. I think we may be only getting the black version in NZ.

Media reviews are listing a launch price of $3399 and pre-orders on Monday 9 December, with general sale on December 18.

I see the website link on Samsung's' website is the F900N so it looks like no 5G for us :(

Anyone know if any stores have it on display to be played with in Auckland?

Fold is coming in both colours, Cosmos Black and Space Silver. Notably the black comes with black Galaxy Buds in the box while the silver comes with white buds.

It will also be on display in PB Tech Downtown on Queen St.

Given the number of inquiries I've had on behalf of CEOs and C-levels, I would suggest folks who want one pre-order quickly. Really glad Samsung were able to bring Fold to NZ.

I assume this is a typo, since my Australian model is a F900F and I expect NZ to get the F900F too.

In a way, the 4G model is better since it has a slightly larger battery and dual SIM support with an eSIM. Can anyone confirm the NZ model will have full eSIM support? (I know the US model, despite having the same hardware, has eSIM disabled).

I filled in the pre-order registration Samsung emailed me but have not heard further.

Not sure I would proceed with one; probably the kind of device to wait until the next generation!

I wonder if there will be an iPhone version?! The price would be more than a Macbook Pro!

I think in reality, for me I need to see a second generation device (though this is effectively that), that has been in the wild a bit.

In reality, no matter how much I loved it on sight, no way could I justify $3400 for it.

I could buy a really nice notebook AND a new phone for that :)

The all-new iPhone Fold Max Plus Extra Pro. Now with extra zeros! $9,995 for the base 32gb model.

I am an Apple Fanboi but have never loved their pricing...

32GB for that money? You're having a giraffe! That is the 16GB price. 🤣

No, that's actually a new SKU they have created which is 8GB, to help those who are poor :)

In terms of value for money though, the 16GB is best, it's only twice that price :)

I might be being blind, but I don't see those locations?

Do you know which ones they are?
