I'm really only looking for normal phone functions, so everything else is a bit of a bonus. For $130, you can't really go wrong with the ideos I think (hope).

At 249 quite a good deal.

VERY good phone for the value, is way better than the IDEOS.

Er...how?

Keep thread on topic, this is just good prices/discounts on android phones, not which phone is better.

DSE in Sylvia Park have a deal where if you buy an Android phone on 2 Degrees with a sim card and $20 top up you get a free $30 iTunes voucher.

2Degrees have their IDEOS for $279 at DSE.

DSE have another 20% today for boxing day...

Plus there is a $150 off if you buy that much credit.

So I practically got it free!! Sort off :P

On which point... VF are running a deal where if you buy the Android VF 845 for $199 then you get $200 credit! :o

However the catch is you have to use it within two months, so personally I feel the 2Degree's deal is better.

I noticed that when I was in one today but anything worthwhile was "Sorry sold out"  That was at 10.30 am..

Yes - that IS a god deal! Phone works out at around $73.... sigh - I bought 2 of them for a bit more than that in the lead up to Xmas... I also see the Optimus One is a good special at DSE... $323.20 (then take off the $150 you buy in credit... nice!)

It was such a cheap deal I was tempted to get two... because I have a nasty habit of losing/breaking phones!

Like I probably will this NYE ;) Instead I got a cheapo from Bond & Bond. Only $25! (including a SIM card which I guess I'll sell off for a couple of bucks) Of course the phone is complete rubbish and not an Android (it is the VF246, the same one JB Hi-Fi was advertising as a super "low" price, but costing 60% more than Bond & Bond!). I'm regarding this phone as "insurance", & I'll use it instead of my Android on nights out I suspect it is possible I may lose my phone... ...like birthdays & NYE!
