Yea the hong kong firmware would be my pick to guarantee the language.
It doesnt matter about i9100 vs i9100T for roms they work fine on either. I can confirm this, you may wish to find a i9100T specific modem however, but mine works fine with the one that came with the rom.

Sounds good. Can you tell me where you got it from? Was it from samfirmware.com?

Looking there I also see a 4.03 for HK ZSLPE. I presume that would also work okay?

And you just used Odin to flash it - no need for root (which I don't need).

Thanks

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Yep from Sammobile.com see here for Asian ICS firmwares.
Flashed using Odin, no need to root.
Just load up odin put the firmware in the PDA section and away you go.
Run taskmanager first and end all the processes related to Kies (it may interfere)
It even keeps all your apps and settings
