MurrayM: Today I went into Samsung Apps and tried to download a few apps, but every app I tried to download came up with an error message:
The country information for your Samsung account does not match the country information for the Samsung Apps store.
- Samsung Apps country: GLB
- Samsung account country: New Zealand
To continue using Samsung Apps, sign in to a Samsung account with the same country information as the Samsung Apps store
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
My S3 is a 2Degrees version, bought from The Warehouse Stationary. I've downloaded just fine from Samsung Apps in the past, don't know what has changed. It seems to me that the phone is accessing the wrong country's app store, where is GLB? Gibraltar?

Did you root your phone?
Try clear Samsung account cache and delete all caches in recovery mode.

Nope, haven't rooted my phone, it's completely stock.
I cleared the Samsung Apps cache but that didn't help. There is nothing in the cache for Samsung Account.

Where did you register your Samsung account? (country)
Try remove Samsung app updates and clear cache then reboot.
Otherwise you can root your phone and clear delvin cache and system cache will fix the problem.
Use market enabler and change it to 55001 apply to reboot and reboot. This will fix it.
If not then you have to reset the phone.
There is another method but can't remember.

cokeman2: hello
does anyone know what the warranty for the sgs 3 is i thought it was a standard one year ...since i am selling my ph on trade me at the moment a bidder has told me Samsung has automatically extended there warranty to 24 months for there hi end devices?? on the Samsung website just says 1 year
IntegerIsNumber: Opps sorry I meant 53001 :) its Vodafone.
Try clear your Google frameworks cache and Play cache. Samsung Apps uses Google play region setting.
Hope that help.
As for root issue you raised, if your phone has software issue then you can reset it back. But if it is a hardware issue then (water damage, crack screen, run over by a truck... Etc) you won't get warranty anyway. Also exploded phone might still be covered by warranty if it happens on its own. Either way hardware issue that makes the phone won't turn on (components failure, dead screen, , dead pixels or factory fault) will validate your warranty because it is not software related (from what I understand), use MHL cable and you can reset it from there.
As long you power the phone on (when you see Samsung logo) then you can always unroot it to get your warranty. :)
The odds of bricking is very small and the only way I can see you'd brick it is to corrupt the NAND flash via software flashing of third party ROMs.
