mattyjnz: Is anyone using Instagram on their S3, I have been trying to use it for ages, but keeps force closing.

Nothing seems to fix it, have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, but still not working properly.

Anyone else having any problems?

Mine works but does crash occasionally. However, I can't use the flash. If I do, it always crashes.

Hi guys
i find after stability update the other day i find my phone very lagging (switching between home screens, with in apps etc.,) ,any of you experiencing that ?

i thought some apps i recently installed causing the issue so uninstalled all of them but to no avail. is there anyway to find what app possibly causing the lag ?

i checked "running apps" section and all the apps i see are all the ones i always have.

BTW i use stock with nova as launcher. thanks for any suggestions.

Anyone know what the difference between MA1 and MA2 is? I can't find a changelog anywhere...

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

You may be on Vodafone but where was the handset purchased from?

Samsung don't publish changelogs, so there's no official way to know.  From reading some forums, it's mostly small bugfixes.  Nothing to be too excited about.

Well it was a 2degrees phone that I bought from The Warehouse Stationery but when I took it back to be fixed for SDS they flashed a Vodafone ROM on to it (at least that's what their repair form said, how do I tell for sure?)

Lots of people are reporting lags and freezes with both MA1 and MA2.  Everyone says that it's because of the eMMC "sudden death" fix.  There is, of course, zero evidence the two are related, but it's a plausible explanation.

So there's not much you can do.  Reboot sometimes helps...

If they didn't also change the phone's CSC, then you still won't get the update.

EDIT: Type in *#12580*369# and tell us what the CSC code is please.

More to the point, Samsung shouldn't really release terrible software.  And it's not like the custom ROMs are any better.  "Look how much faster my phone is, now half the features don't work anymore!"

Which is still a 2Degrees CSC.  So your phone hasn't been properly flashed to Vodafone, if at all.

Sorry :)
