Came across this video. A must watch for all owners who are considering putting their 6Ps in their pockets.

Sad thing to see, I was a critic of his last video, but I don't think this one leaves any room for critics - glad he cleared up the flaw.
Though I wouldn't be too worried, unless you put as much force on the exact right position like he did, you won't experience any issues. Definitely doesn't look good for huawei though, having a fatal flaw like that in their phone.

Would be interested to see how people respond to this one, the last wasn't taken seriously by many.

Seriously though it looks like he used quite a bit of force to do that. What is the bending force a phone should be able to withstand?

This is the same guy who holds a cigarette lighter up to the screen to test for... well I have no idea really. These tests are just stupid, if it doesn't bend during normal use that's all I care about.

It doesn't look to me that he used lot of force. The frightening thing about the video is how the phone simply gives up without a fight, so to speak.

As far as I'm concerned that guy is a YouTube troll looking for hits and advertising revenue.

Who knows what he did to the device beforehand and frankly unless it gets picked up by the big tech sites (The Verge, AC, Engadget etc) it is aa hoax

Could you folks please use the Google Nexus 6P thread to discuss anything related to the handset instead of this thread?

Got my 6P yesterday and my Chromecast <– which is awesome because I just sold my Razer Forge TV I was using as a Chromecast. The 6P is a thing of beauty. Thanks Geekzone, Hauwei, and 2 Degrees… I'm thrilled.

However I need your guy's help. I switched from iPhone to a Nexus 6 earlier in the year. Now I'm upgrading to the 6P. I'm used to setting up new iPhones, where you just restore your new phone from a backup of the old phone, and you're all done (except for a few passwords and setting up your fingerprint again).

I setup the 6P last night using the 'Set up nearby device' option to restore the 6P from my Nexus 6. But I was shocked when none of my app data was migrated. I'm looking at app tutorials when I open them as if I've never used them. I assumed something went wrong. I factory reset the phone, and did it again. Same thing.

I've tried using Helium to migrate the app data, but it refuses to work.

So now I turn to you guys. How can I migrate EVERYTHING possible? (Both are on M, everything's up-to-date).

I left my 6P at home as I refuse to switch to it until it's ready cry

I had the same problem coming from my Nexus 5 to the 6p. The set up near device wouldn't work and it did not download all my apps. I had to go through all my apps on play store and select which ones to install. Wasn't a very smooth process

If you skip the restore from another phone, you should see the restore from Google Play option.
