ok I've just read this and it says I am so lucky to have a non locked bootloader I can flash whatever the * I want, but should I upgrade to a knox locked rom that's the end of the line for me ...

is that still true?

Pretty much. That's why I'm hoping they don't update my firmware while they have my phone.

I think you can flash whatever you want but the knox flag is gonna trip, meaning the service center can see you've modified your device.

Android S4 4.3 Rollout Suspended Temporarily - Can anyone verify this?

I picked up my Telecom  S4 (I9505) on Friday & it refuses to update from 4.2.2 (OTA or Kies), a colleagues updated just fine a few days before.

I've found the below pertaining to US carriers, wondering if Telecom has done the same:

Are you sure its a telecom one? Does it say telecom when it turns on and shuts down?

Mine came back from repair with 4.2.2 and refused to update as well. Actually a blessing as it's now rooted again and running a custom 4.3 rom instead. My wife's S4 updated about two weeks ago.

Unusual they didn't upgrade you to 4.3 but I guess good for you.
Out of interest what custom rom did you install?

As I understand it, 4.3 was causing issues so Samsung removed it from the S4 OTA/Kies update service.

No idea when it will be back :(
