Ok, the notifications issue might be related with power usage - the profile disables most apps while screen is off/foreground.

Changed this now, let's see how it goes.

A previous Honor phone had this same issue, you had to make sure to go through and exclude apps from power management. If you didn't they just got killed off soon after the screen went off.

I still haven't worked out how to get the DNG images of the phone. This is one of the main reasons I got this phone to have a raw file capability. has anybody manage to get them off the phone?

I have just taken a photo in PRO mode, with RAW option set. Both the JPEG and DNG are stored in the main storage (shame, would be better to have it on the micro SD card). I plugged the P9 to my laptop and made sure to change the USB connection on the phone to FILES.

I then opened File Explorer, browsed to DCIM on the main storage and copied both files - super fast as expected. Below is the DNG on Photoshop (click for large version):

Are you sure you tap the FILES option on your phone after you plug it in to your PC?

I wonder if you have given access for the application (filemanager) to read the SD Card where the DNG images are stored. It might worth reviewing the applications permissions which could why you aren't seen the DNG images of your phone.

DNG files are located on /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/ - Hope it helps.

Just follow what I posted in my previous reply: plug the P9 via USB, make sure to tap the notification and select FILES, on your PC open Explorer and go to the phone's internal storage, under DCIM folder and copy from there.

Tried that it shows 0 files in the DCIM folder. But if I check the SD card DCIM folder it shows all the jpg and mp4 files?

lol Jesus, how big are your wifes hands?

hahaha, she is actually quite small only 5'2" . She uses it for work and it is great for email etc given that she is constantly travelling and watches movies on on long haul flights.

But yeah it is a beast of a phone

There's a folder "Camera" under DCIM on internal storage, that's where my DNG photos are.

I can see the camera folder on the file list on the phone as well as the DNGs, but I can't see it on my PC with of my normal file viewing programs, Adobe Bridge, ACDSee, or my Computer?
