I have no problems playing clash on my galaxy tab s2. Other than battery life not being awesome it's a nice tablet and runs coc or hay day fine.

I purchased an ASUS Zenpad 3S 10 a few weeks ago. From my research it seems the best option under $500. All up cost me $430 delivered from Amazon using shipito. It hasn't arrived yet but I'm pretty sure it is the best option. I can report back when it arrives.

I've just had an Nvidia Shiled K1 tablet delivered from Amazon for approx $NZ290 delivered. You can find specs online but has just received nougat update and looks like a worth replacement from my 2013 nexus 7.

We bought it for just general browsing and youtube (kids!) but looks like it has capable gaming options too - might have to pick up a gamepad!

No - I thought import duty was for product and shipping >$400?

@Nimma I'd be interested to see how you find playing clash of clans and or Hay Day (Scrolling through farms who are level 130, is there any lag)?

It's been a while since I've played a game in anger but might pick up a gamepad and try one of the NVidia optimised ones to say I did and will report back here.

I am a little leary of buying something that has been around for so long and is potentially getting outdated. Having said that, I don't see much around worth considering either.

I would have quite liked a higher resolution screen. I think it's why I ruled it out last time.

When I first got my Shield Tablet K1 I tested it outby playing a bit of Trine 2, one of the Nvidia optimized games. The tablet runs it at native res(1080p) at pretty good frame rates, 60fps with dips hear and there.

Samsung annouce Galaxy Tab S3 with a 820 Processor.

Not sure how it compares CPU/GPU with other recently released tablets or the K1.

I have a Shield Tablet K1 I just bought brand new from another member and opened, updated and realized the small 1080P screen isn't going to work for me. $310 Incl postage if anyone is keen.

Err sorry to hear it didn't suit. For others the tablet really is brand new and includes the fintie case which is the top rated one on Amazon

No worries, it happens, I wanted to have a look at it anyways.

I'm keen to take a look at the 7" and 8" versions of the Lenovo Tab4. It was announced back in Feb but I've not see any updates on availability.
