Telecom serves up an Ice Cream Sandwich, fast
Telcom is pleased to welcome the HTC One X and One V to the Smartphonenetwork™.
Telecom’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jason Paris, says the speed and reliability of New Zealand’s only 100% 3G mobile network, compliments the HTC One X’s ultra fast quad core processor, allowing customers to talk, text, tweet and share when it matters the most.
“Whether you’re taking amazingly vibrant photos while shooting HD video, or savouring the authentic sound of your favourite tunes, putting these powerful HTC handsets on our smartphone specced 3G network will help you capture every moment and share it, fast.”
“The devices enable multimedia power and fast web browsing on a crisp HD display, or a sophisticated design that’ll wow your friends at the bar, our new HTC range has you sorted.”
For business customers, Android offers access to a wide range of existing business apps, while the ultra fast processing capability enhances productivity and collaboration, by enabling more efficient multi-tasking between business applications and personal tools.
For all users, sharing photos, video or presentations on your compatible HD TV is effortless, using a unique ‘swipe to screen’ action. The HTC One X boasts a 1.5Ghz quad-core chipset with four high-performance CPU cores, giving you powerful multi-tasking and smooth, ultra responsive apps, games and music.
The HTC One X and HTC One V both feature the attractive HTC Sense interface and Ice Cream Sandwich, the newest Android release.
The HTC One X is $0 on a 24Month $100 Smartphone plan and the HTC One V is $0 on a 24 Month $60 Smartphone plan.
Pre-orders will be live on Telecom’s website from 10 April, and available online and in store on 26 April. Gen-i clients should contact their client manager for more information.

So, does this mean they won't be messing with the firmware any more? Maybe just adding in a couple of their own apps and leaving it at that...?
That's an amazingly fast release! I'd had my S2 for four months before Telecom released it here...
