For most members if you hover over the Options button one of the options is "PM User" but that is not an option for Souza.

Souza, any chance you could email me robert at fisher dot net dot nz ?

My mistake, I had the following set on my profile:

Enable privacy (hide your name from user list and prevent private messages?):

If anyone else has a spare code that they don't mind giving away, I have a friend who really wants one too.

Cheers.

Hi all.
If anyone has a code they weren't planning on using, it would be great if I could possibly have it? I was eligible for this promo, but I already had a perfectly fine phone until this morning, so I didn't apply. It looks like replacement time unless I can get my current phone fixed.
Cheers.

Let this be a lesson to always apply for promos that are non-commital ;)

I don't think that's a good practise though.

I want to thank (again) all those who organised this promotion.

Having owned Nexus 4, 5, 6 and 7 I did not think they could improve but after reading many reviews and now using the 6P for three days I now believe that the benchmark has been raised.

The 6P is fantastic in every respect IMHO.

Why? Whats the risk? You get a code and can then evaluate if you really want the phone or not. You are not committed to buying it at the time you PM'd your details. No risk, possible reward?

No what if 300 people put their name and mere 50 bought the phone? That kinda gives a bad impression on geekzone.

Maybe. But that could be 50 more sales that they would of got without offering this deal.

I think the sales volume is a good thing but just knowing 125 people got into the list, some got their phones, some showed to their friends and family, some word of mouth happened... This is all good publicity too.
