I've definitely seen an increase in battery life (about 4 hours screen on time). Quite happy with the Note 4 at the moment.

SamMobile app alerted me last night, so it's recent. Voda out as well, which I updated last night. How did you know it was for stagefright?

I did the stagefright detector test on the first 5.1.1 we got and it failed on one, now it's all green. I am pretty positive it is more than that it fixes...

Well it's over 117MB so I'd hope something else was in there, but haven't seen anything different or that logs on websites etc that would indicate any changes.

I think the Settings-Battery options have changed again (they were updated in the previous 5.1.1 firmware also). There is now an App Optimisation setting. A quick internet search suggests this is an S6 feature. Haven't determined if it's of any appreciable value yet.

I just bought the Gear S2 which works well with the Note 4..
But anyways.. I was talking to the Samsung rep and she said we should see Marshmallow out for Note 4 and up around December or January.
Don't hold your breath.. but that'll be cool if it does come in December..

Current leaks say February for the Note 4. And that means by the time it passes via carriers for approval I wouldn't expect it until April even... I'd like to think the rep knew better, but sadly this sort of info tends to be poorly communicated... here's hoping though...

Operator approval takes all of a week max unless something is terribly wrong. It's not the cause of delays for software updates in NZ. :)

Didn't mean to blame carriers... Samsung staggers their rollouts in some mystical way, so once they finalise the firmware it doesn't mean carriers see it immediately and once carriers approve it it doens't mean Samsung rolls it out immediately either.... that process adds a couple of months easy... I've been a stock Samsung owner since the S1 so have watched the painful turn of events many times and watched the NZ carrier forums where they say it's back with Samsung etc... unless anyone can shed a better light on the method of their madness...
