Using it now. I might sign up for premium when I get my s3 and have offline playlists.

Each to their own. I did get sick of the Titanic song though. I'd say the whole world got sick of that song.

Off topic - Titanic 3D Blu-ray in September, Yussss.

On topic - S3.

Meh I've not really ever understood peoples objection to other music tastes... You like who you like, often you have no control over it :)

Most people who know me would be VERY surprised at the eclectic nature of my music collection, but naturally it does have a leaning in specific directions.

I heard Titanic 3D was pretty cool.

My hidden music taste is very different to what i show people. Im also not afraid to go against the norm with some music i like.

Titanic 3D was good. Especially the 'looking over the railings' shots. Like you were actually there.

On topic - S3.

WHS Blenheim told me when i went to get a white one that he was pretty sure my Blue one had arrived. All i could think was 'Please give it to me, please give it to me'. They couldn't until next week.

There are some SERIOUS penalties in place if stores sell before the date.

Anyone know of anywhere in Auckland I can get a hands on powered up look at it for just a few minutes?

I never asked. He gave me the answer without me asking anyway.

I was gonna say a Vodafone store? But they seem to be playing Secret Squirrel.
Maybe a 2Degrees store or Telecom?

I had emailed my sister to see if she knew if 2degrees was doing any pre-order deals but unfortunately apparently working in finance division she only finds out about when the public do (and probably wouldn't be allowed to tell even if she knew in advance). She did say she got to have a play with one though....jealous! Not long to go now though

NZtechfreak: Anyone else notice how this is the hottest thread in Geekzone right now, but isn't in the trending discussions area on the homepage? Got something to do with the Telecom Tech Blog One X promo you think?

Wow. Just wow...

"Hot topics" are automatically selected from the database every single time a page is requested. The formula is simple: [number of replies] / [number of days the thread has been alive].

This thread was created in February. It's been a long run and quiet for a while. Right now I run the same query but listing the top 25 threads and this one comes in at #18 with an average of seven replies per day. The top thread is at 24 replies per day and was created yesterday.

Even the Samsung Galaxy SII thread, which has been going for just over a year now (created 9th May 2011) got an average of ten new replies per day. This for an one year old discussion that still gets replies every day.

I am sorry but this IS NOT THE HOTTEST THREAD on Geekzone right now. I am sorry the automated selection does not reflect your personal view, but it's the best we can do without any manual intervention.

Now, even hinting that this topic not being in the Hot List has anything to do with a sponsored blog that is running is really an insult. I made a clear point, always, of maintaining strict separation between commercial and editorial. I always had full disclosure. And seeing what you wrote just up there is just not right.

Thanks for that clarification Mauricio. I figured that it was as you said, an automated system based on number of posts.

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.
