On P9 contact app, I see contact from gmail account even without any phone numbers.

Does anyone know how to hide contacts that doesnt have phone number stored on contact name?

I prefer to set up a new phone from scratch. If contacts etc are all cloud based, it's relatively straightforward to do.

One thing can anyone confirm why you can't stream FLAC audio over a home network with P9 you can send mp3's. It just does not work whilst streaming it to my network amp via songpal or via bubbleupnp it will fail with 'cant play file' message.  It worked fine with my previous Sony Z3 compact phone -  just played flac straight from phone over the network and onscreen it would display song and output file as flac 1.5mps to show it was supporting the file type.

Curious to know if others have this problem or if it is Sony wanting consumers to use only their devices for full audio support. Or maybe perhaps the P9 needs an update to transport the flac stream without incident. It's a big deal for audiophiles and could be a deal breaker for some people I believe.

Any word on what is happening with the Honor 8 given it is a rebrand of a P9 (based on the reviews I have seen)? the main attraction is the long term software support they've promised.

Have been looking at phones lately as my S4 appears to be dying - can anybody tell me how their P9's are going after a bit of use ?

I just bought one, and it updated to VIE-L09C706B130 when I got it home. (I love build numbers that roll off the tongue like that)
