I got one today from Classic Mobiles, in Wellington. He applied it for me on the spot.

I receive very few phone calls but IIRC you slide the circle on the lock screen or tap if unlocked.

Cases etc. My wife has the Mate 9 and we found that AliExpress was a great place to find these as its a Chinese phone I guess this is to be expected. Here is a link to Mate 10 cases https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20180107195339&SearchText=mate+10+cases

I did a couple of speed tests while going past the Silverdale 4.5g cell tower and this was the highest I got with my mate 10 pro

I never seen speeds like that on a mobile phone before

Anyone had camera issues since last OTH update? Updated earlier this week and then sd unmounted (no biggie once worked out) and now stock camera will take image but wont save to gallery. Have changed camera save to internal, reset cache and everything else web has for issue. If change to non stock app from store camera images save fine.

Just received an update that brings it to January 2018 security level, plus adds VoLTE and VoWiFi. Interested to know if the VoWiFi works on 2degrees.

Even after the update? Might be a good time to ask @2degreescare if it will be certified now.

Yes i have the update, just in case ive requested 2degrees's provisioning settings again, but i have somehow disable the notification of this as my spark sim would constantly send me these settings which got annoying hence why i disabled provisioning notifications, now i dont know how to access them XD

Hi guys,

I bought the review Mate 10 Pro unit off freitasm (thanks again Mauricio).

Happy with everything so far except the bluetooth on it...

It is not connecting to my bluetooth speakers and earphone.

So the devices will appear in the bluetooth search menu but when I tap on the device I want to connect to, it just keeps going connecting and eventually a dialogue box coming up saying device cannot be connected.

I've tried unpairing the devices and repairing them again, nope

I've also tried resetting network settings but to no avail.

It appears that certain bluetooth profiles aren't available such as phone audio and media audio but contact sharing is fine.

Any ideas? Maybe a firmware bug or something?

It is getting frustrating not being able to pair it to my bluetooth earphone and having no 3.5mm jack, I have yet to get a USB C to 3.5 dongle for my Mi earphone since there wasn't one included in the box.

TIA

This may not be terribly helpful, but one of the key reasons I won't buy another Huawei is the dodgy Bluetooth on my current phone (Mate 8).

I have had so much trouble connecting our Megabooms and my Gear S2 to my phone as well as my wife's (also a Huawei); both also have frequent issues connecting to both our cars. Others report problems with Bluetooth in more recent models as well (including the previous owner of your phone!). Good luck with sorting it, though.

Edit: should have noted the problems I've had with connecting Bluetooth speakers and headphones were very similar to the ones you are having. In my case, I've found just trying again and again and again is sometimes the only solution. Sometimes, for no reason, my headphones will connect for phone but not media, or sometimes neither... I find some devices are worse than others (Megabooms the worst).

Interesting because I used this phone with my Bose QC35 and with some Bluetooth speakers.

Have you tried turning off Bluetooth (and WiFi) scanning in Location settings?
