I ordered the exclusive Blue Flip5 on Tuesday last week after specifically asking on the likely speed of dispatch on the chat - was "reassured it would be 5 business days, so placed the order.

Friday midday got a call, there will be a delay of 15 days (couldn't say if that was days or business days), wasn't happy but figured oh well.  They had told me they would send me a discount voucher to help make me feel good about it, that voucher duly arrived via email and it was only valid for 7 days. (belongs in the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot topic). So I cancelled the order and went to PB Tech and picked one up (black not blue, but it's going to be in a case probably anyway) and got a free power pack, wireless charger and huge Harman Kardon battery speaker.

I wish you all better luck than I had!

I purchased the Samsung Fold 5 Stylus case. Used it for a week and just returned it to Noel Leeming who gave me a refund. Appears to be a design flaw with these cases, the stylus compartment is loose enough that it allows the stylus to rotate and it then falls out. Check out the Noel Leeming customer reviews, all but one complaining about the same thing.

Now, which case to get next?

A Fold5 landed here yesterday with a case and stylus. I can't see how the stylus rotates in that slot.

Check out the reviews, it rotates.

Either that or Samsung have a lot of bad batches. Check out Google reviews as well, people are trying all kinds of things including wrapping tape around the stylus to hold it in place.

Noel Leeming were great, I showed them in the shop and the stylus promptly fell out onto the floor. No issues with a refund.

Congrats.
Now for the Flip 5 owners what sort of SOT have you all been getting, I'm between 4 to 5.5 hours with a shocker of 3h 24 one time, must have been some app draining it.
If only they made it a bit wider body and even slightly thicker to get in a much bigger battery and then it would have been basically perfect.

Looking to order a Lavender Flip5 8/256 via Samsung EPP, just checking with those that have ordered from Samsung online/EPP in the last couple of weeks if there are any delays?

Ideally I'd like to get my hands on the order before next Friday.

I've had my Flip 5 for 22 days now, for a total of 1287 flips/folds/opening. Has been perfect, always have at least 30 percent battery left on a normal day, not the most heavy phone user, but still better than my previous flip 3. Only issue I have had has been using google wallet on the phone, it just doesn't seem to like to paywave things, and errors out the machine most of the time, unlike my flip 3 which worked perfectly.

How do you know how many openings you have done?

There's an app called Fold Counter made by Roovie on the google play store that tracks flips/folds.

It's a weird thing to exist but not available through Settings. Also, this app description: "The app keeps a running tally of your folds, allowing you to monitor your progress and stay motivated."

Motivated to what? Open and close the phone?

LOL! Just found out while setting up wife's Z Flip5 that there is only 1 physical SIM + eSIM, whereas Z Fold5 still has two physical SIMs + eSIM.

So gonna have to change one of her SIMs to eSIM to achieve dual SIM functionality.

Have any Flip owners not bothered with the screen protector? My Flip4 is coming loose at the hinge and looks unsightly. I realise it can be replaced, but I'm wondering if it's also causing some glitches when I open the phone it up. A few times it hasn't woken when I've unfolded, and a few times the screen has become unresponsive and I wonder if it's simply the protector lifting slightly.
