I'm not bothered about when I get Android 10, I would just like a security patch newer than Nov 1st. Note 10, S10 & S9 are all on January 1st.

Unlocked Note 9, Mobile carrier Spark. Checking every day.... nada.

Actually I just checked my Note 9 and it decided to update with Security patch level: 1 February 2020.

Is yours NZ market stock?

Edit: NVM, answered above. NZ's official channels (NZC/TNZ/VNZ) are all still on Pie/1-Nov-2019

Didn't I read above that you already upgraded to Android 10 though? I'm on Android 9 as I prefer to wait until upgrades are delivered with checking for updates function. Just checked again and still no update offered, still on Nov 1st. If they can release Jan 1st for S9/S9+ on Android 9 there should be no excuse why they can't release it for Note 9.

My old 2 Degrees Note 8 got Jan 1 2020 security on 5th Feb which surprised me as know won't get android 10 but looks Samsung doesn't care much about NZ and always so far behind with updates here.

This is the thing I really hate about Android. It is bad enough that this is the last full version update it will get for a phone that is only a little over a year old, but is priced an RRP in line with iphones which can get over 5 years of OS updates. My old SE will get ios updates for longer than my note 9 will, especially as the SE is supposed to also get ios14!
Samsung really need to lift their game IMO if they want to charge such high prices, and provide at least 3-5 full android versions.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Yep I agree. It's completely unacceptable for an eighteen month old, high-end, eye-wateringly expensive phone to have  three month old security patch, and to learn that it will only receive updates for another year really pisses me off. I thought it was bad only getting three and a bit years of updates with my Note 4. Unless they buck their ideas up and support their phones longer (particularly their high-end phones), then I'm most probably switching to an iphone next. I could live with not getting OS system upgrades beyond 3 or so, but they should still provide security patches for a minimum of 5 years.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and I am yet to receive Android 10. Samsung previously confirmed it would be by the end of February. It's getting near the end of February yet haven't received it.

It was the same story last year, they released it on the 26th. Unless the date has slipped, I would expect it in the next week or so.
