mrgsm021: Does anyone know if the Vodafone win a trip to space competition applies to S3 purchases from the likes of JB or does it only apply to purchasing directly from Vodafone online/retail stores/dealers?

On their competition T&C, all it says is purchases from Vodafone or authorised Vodafone reseller.

Are you able to clarify this johnr?

Thanks

JB is an authorized Vodafone reseller.

Read the T&Cs, you need to have an active vodafone sim in your phone on the 16 July sometime during the day

I am already a Vodafone on account customer and will have no problem having the sim active in the phone as my phone is on 24/7.

Hmm So in terms of the competition (that rocket youtube video was very sobering) you need to HAVE your device by then or just pre-ordered? I will probably hang out for a blue.

vinnieg: Engadget is up too:

http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/25/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-review/

I think I'm done with this site as their reviews are just getting crappier and crappier. I have to say though, that the enthusiasm of fanboy v.s. fanboy and troll v.s. troll arguments is quite good and laugh out loud funny at times. Probably worth it for that.

Engadget is mainly for Apple and iProducts reviews. Anything other than iPhone and iPad will get rottenly review. Hints the capital word of Retina every time they review iproducts :)

Typical Engadget, they quote my thread at XDA as a source when clearly the source for that is the AndroidNZ piece that lead the news on this (since the post links to it).

@Avecha, yes that's right, as with a lot of other countries. However all the european countries are getting their orders before us :(

That's OK though, I'm still going to wait out the blue. My last white phone, apart from the One-X, was the Galaxy Spica i5700 in 2010, and it got dirty extremely fast

And to the person who asked the question about the case, I'm going official back blue cover too. Realistically Samsung could have let a few with teh flawed backs in, and offered the case with flap discounted for those that wanted it. But oh well, good to see they have good quality control

So really Samsung couldn't fill every order and didn't see NZ as top priority as the Olympics aren't being hosted here.

I changed my order to white. I really cant be assed waiting another month for the blue. That and part of me has been iffy about the blue color all along.

How do you spell color? Colour or color?
