avecha: How do you spell color? Colour or color?

Colour if you are getting the Blue one on time, color if you are getting a dual core LTE model in a few months.

So really Samsung couldn't fill every order and didn't see NZ as top priority as the Olympics aren't being hosted here.

I changed my order to white. I really cant be assed waiting another month for the blue. That and part of me has been iffy about the blue color all along.

How do you spell color? Colour or color?

Definitely colour, we aren't american :) although the spellchecker things I am for some reason...

Nah, it's more the fact they have "apparently" destroyed 600,000 phone back plates, so they are going for the Nordic countries who reported the problem first.  I think NZ was one of the later countries to find the issues, so we are behind in the queue.  Plus I'm guessing it'll be an expensive airmail exercise for them, but quality control is key.  They don't want to be known for bad quality control again, or slow updates.  Like the first Androids they released back in 2009/2010

Edit: Further to me suspecting this, was I was told, as were may others, that the blue were in stock in almost all Warehouse stationery stores.  But have now had to go back to the distributor for replacement

That makes sense as my WHS guy told me my phone got here on the 21st.

Yeah spell check always confuses me. Im looking forward to getting the white one now.
I think the only phone i've had that wasn't black was my Philips Savvy back in 2001.

Is there anything significant re the dual core lte?

Mobicity are $799 today. Also they are claiming to be able to get blue 3-5 working days after the 30th.

I see $999 at mobicity for pre order. I did notice in-store that WHS beat other prices by 5% on tech stuff and the sign had no conditions regarding phones.

The main significant thing is.. it won't work here on our LTE I believe, otherwise it'll be an awesome media player :-) Someone else might further clarify the LTE that will be in effect here as opposed to the LTE networks in the USA.

oops sorry I got redirected somehow to the .com.au site for mobicity. Sorry about that.

I see the HTC XL is on offer too, that looks pretty compelling.

So would i just take in Harvey Normans advert of $949 to WHS and they'll give me 5% off?

FIND A BETTER PRICE AND WE’LL BEAT IT. *If you happen to find the same product advertised cheaper, we’ll beat it by up to 10%; 5% on laptops, desktops, netbooks, computer accessories, printers, mobile phones and prepaid postal.

So to me that says they will give you 5% off a mobile phone if you find it cheaper elsewhere.
The other store has to be a physical store and this will probably only work once both stores have them in stock.

Also the Harvey Norman price is the same not cheaper. Wont stop me trying though.
