Rudder:
avecha: So would i just take in Harvey Normans advert of $949 to WHS and they'll give me 5% off?

http://www.warehousestationery.co.nz/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/WSL-B2C-Site/en_NZ/-/NZD/GetContent-ViewContentPage?CategoryName=guarantees

FIND A BETTER PRICE AND WE’LL BEAT IT. *If you happen to find the same product advertised cheaper, we’ll beat it by up to 10%; 5% on laptops, desktops, netbooks, computer accessories, printers, mobile phones and prepaid postal.

So to me that says they will give you 5% off a mobile phone if you find it cheaper elsewhere.
The other store has to be a physical store so I cannot see why this wouldn't work with a Harvey Norman price.

This will probably only work once both stores have them in stock.

it will not work because harvey norman pricing is on a vodafone supplied handset and the WHS pricing is on a 2d supplied handset. Been in this situation before myself. If it happens than nothing like it.

If a deal comes out that is cheaper than WHS it should work. The handset is exactly the same despite the Sim that comes with it. If it has the same bar code on the box I would love to see them talk their way out of that.

having worked in retail myself I can tell you they don't have to do it. When it comes to price matching or price beating there are so many things that have to be met. Just because its the same handset doesn't make a difference, They both come from different suppliers, are meant for different networks although they will work fine on either one.

When there was a bonus samsung tv with S2 XT version you couldn't claim one with a vodafone supplied one. If they beat pricing that will be out of goodwill not that policy.

Also worth nothing the pricing is same i.e. 949. Their policy says if you find it cheaper which isn't the case here.

Nothing apart from APN's or a 2d logo at start up.

Since it takes micro SIM shouldn't all of them have the APNs loaded?

Waaaay too much! I was one of the first consumers in the world to get one, so I paid like $220US + shipping. Apparently Play in the UK is selling them for as little as 50 pounds now, so I'd try and get a better price than what I paid!

Why not just get 32GB card? It is dirt cheap now and wait for the 64 to get cheaper in a few months

Maybe like me he just cannot do with 32GB + phone storage?

:)

Personally I'm waiting for 128GB cards to come, will be getting one of those at release regardless of price too! 64GB + 128GB will hold me for a little while (that isn't a joke).
