Und3f: NZTF: How much did you get your Sandisk 64GB SDXC for?

Waaaay too much! I was one of the first consumers in the world to get one, so I paid like $220US + shipping. Apparently Play in the UK is selling them for as little as 50 pounds now, so I'd try and get a better price than what I paid!

Thanks for this. New Zealand pricing is embarrassing, Ozi's price is like close to half NZ's Frown

The Ozz $$ is worth about 23% more that ours so I would expect this pricing in NZ.  It will be interesting to see what the Ozz carrier pricing is.

He seems to be trust worthy 99.9% rating.

Update:
I think this seller is more reliable. He response quite quickly and price is pretty close to the other one. I'm getting from him :)

Looks like Telecom has sold out of their pre-order stock, it's not possible to order online anymore.

On second thought maybe they've taken down their pricing so they can rethink it and make a bit more competitive with Vodafone.

Free on a $90 plan with Vodafone and free on a $120 plan at Telecom is quite a difference.

isn't the $90 plan only the initial promo and the normal will be $120?

That is correct

Today I got my call from WHS like others have and was given the option to cancel the order, switch to white or wait. I chose to wait but I am now phone less for a few weeks as my s2 sold last night.

I don't suppose anyone in Wellington has a phone I could lease until my s3 arrives (I'm using a restive touch Vodafone 858 and it is driving me nuts and it hasn't even been 1 day yet).

sidders80:
Rudder:
sidders80:it will not work because harvey norman pricing is on a vodafone supplied handset and the WHS pricing is on a 2d supplied handset. Been in this situation before myself. If it happens than nothing like it.

If a deal comes out that is cheaper than WHS it should work. The handset is exactly the same despite the Sim that comes with it. If it has the same bar code on the box I would love to see them talk their way out of that.

having worked in retail myself I can tell you they don't have to do it. When it comes to price matching or price beating there are so many things that have to be met. Just because its the same handset doesn't make a difference, They both come from different suppliers, are meant for different networks although they will work fine on either one.

When there was a bonus samsung tv with S2 XT version you couldn't claim one with a vodafone supplied one. If they beat pricing that will be out of goodwill not that policy.

Also worth nothing the pricing is same i.e. 949. Their policy says if you find it cheaper which isn't the case here.

I queried the price match guarantee at WHS before pre-ordering. Their reason for not doing it was that it only applies to items in stock at the competitor and that they also must have in stock, so it is not applicable to pre-orders with them as no-one has any stock - which does make it a rock solid defense for them.

Good to see some nice pricing around for 64GB microSDXC. Does anyone know if it can be read in SDHC compatible readers such as built into laptops/netbooks, etc?

No idea but amazon had them at the same price or cheaper. So I'm going to try my luck and the seller got quite good feedbacks and he refunded his customers money if the card isn't working or fake.

Will let you know when it is delivered.

I can lend you an LG Snapper capable phone if you like. PM me your details.
