securityguy: Any insights into why the Telcos aren't selling this beast yet? 🤔

I'm curious about this too.  I'm thinking about grabbing one of these today, but would prefer one from my carrier given the option.

I've asked about when they'll be available and haven't got any concrete answers.

I had a “pre order” email from Samsung today, inviting me to do so “now”.

OOI I followed the links and despite urging me to do so “now” on the actual web page, you cannot. It just says “Coming Soon”!

scottjpalmer: Anyone seen a demo unit in stores yet?

Surprised to see it today at PB Tech St Lukes. Had a good feel, lol. Very nice and premium device. If I owned one I would remove the screen protector as it gets dirty and makes the screen feel cheap.

I personally think the folding phones will be making a big comeback in the coming years. When prices drop a bit and the screens are stronger, I will be signing up for one.

Perhaps Z Fold 3... 😀

Hi Guys,

Any cases available in NZ? My phone is arriving soon but was not able to find any case readily available in NZ. Samsung is also out of stock :(

Man, just had a play with one at Pbtech, what a phone. I regret my Note 20 Ultra purchase.

I've had the phone for a month now, and I think I can confidently recommend it to almost anyone willing to pay the price. I had the Fold 1 too, and while I would share my excitement with people on that phone, I wouldn't ever actually recommend someone who's not a tech enthusiast buy it.

My only real disappointment is the cameras - they're not bad or anything, but they feel the same as my Fold 1. I wish we got better than S10-tier cameras in such an expensive phone.
