emenent7426: Mine has arrived today after a long wait from NZ Post. Luckily my case also arrived earlier than expected so i am good to go :)

Where'd you get the case? Mobilefun?

Yes MobileFun. Paid for DHL shipping and it arrived really fast. Samsung NZ is out of stock. Amazon ones available are from China, others are out of stock. I think people underestimated the sale of this phone.

I've got the UAG case preordered through them. I managed to get a Samsung leather case through Samsung NZ as well, but don't recommend it. Overpriced, very little protection, cut out for charging cable isn't big enough for most of my cables at home.

I have already paid for Samsung Aramid Fibre case but they are out of stock. My order went through their system but they had none in Stock at that time. The order is still pending with Samsung :(

I wish I ordered that one when I had a chance.

Found one in Noel Leeming.

I like idea but the front aspect ratio is whack and opening and closing it didn't seem particularly easy without touching the screen.

As an update.

Noel Leeming has the Galaxy Z Fold 2 for $500 RRP off in the Waitangi Weekend Sale ($2899). Still pretty steep, particularly if you consider they came with Galaxy Buds Live originally ($254). But almost down to the price of a phone and a mobile data capable tablet combined.

Will power needed to drive past the local NL because if I walk in the door I will probably not be  able to resist.

Also, the Z Flip is down $400 to $1999.

Hehe, I know, I'm keen to grab one but considering the rumours of the Fold 3 out by July, I'm holding out. Apparently it has some form of IP rating.

Such is the gadget treadmill that there is always something better just around the corner😋.

I cannot find a thread on Galaxy Z Flip, but the question is also relevant to a Z Fold.

...Is it recommended to oil the hinge? How often? With any oil? Or CRC?

I tried unsuccessfully to upload a photo of subject, the link below. If a moderator can, please do.

Introduce a fluid to a non-IP rated device? On the face of it I would say no.

I had a play with one of these at a local VF store while waiting in line.

Boy, if I had the spare cash (lots of it), I'd be tempted to swap sides to the Android life.

In the "flesh" these are a beautiful piece of kit, but for the price of a decent laptop, I'm not even close to being attracted to it's price tag.

Noel Leeming has these for $2500 in their Queens Birthday Weekend sale.

I know the Galaxy Fold 3 is just around the corner, but I’m assuming that will be back up to the $3400 price point.
