The audio ports of my father's fairly old PC have finally died, both front and rear.

Apart from that the PC works fine for youtube which is all it is used for. Just need to plug in his speakers.

I have a USB mixer (Behringer) which I tried to get going but the USB mixer is fairly old, and with the PC running 32 bit Win10, I am having no luck installing the now obsolete 32 bit driver.

If anyone has a basic USB sound card they would sell to me can they get in touch?

For less than $20, I’d grab one of these mate.. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/SEVOEM8599/3D-Sound-51-USB-external-Sound-Card-for-laptop-Des

I used one for a laptop with a plug snapped off in the socket. Worked like a charm.
If that address doesn’t work.. look at PBTech for part SEVOEM8599
