khutze: How do I turn off signal processing? there is a firmwear available for the Blue Ray but it said that it will only enhance the blue ray live feature but I will upgrade it. Does not make any diff if 1080 or 720 Is it possible that the HDMI Cable could be faulty? I will try another one just in case
Thanks

Thanks for the input guys, I tried a few things over the weekend and decided to bite the bullet and buy some 10.2 Monster HDMI cables, ultra high speed wow what a difference all problems solved and the sound is even better than before and that is saying something. Flicker gone all good.
Hope you didn't throw your money away on actual "Monster" branded cables? In most cases a $15 HDMI cable off TradeMe will perform identically to a $200 Monster cable.
Yes i did spend the money on the Monster brand cables, as this is what I am running. I have tried the cheaper ones and it was these that I have had poblems with, the cheaper ones are fine if you are not looking for the best result, just my opinion, but the monster ones are just better. Anyway it has been working fine now so all good.
