As a Microsoft MVP I am excited to participate in this year's Microsoft MVP Summit in Seattle. This is going to be my first Summit, even though it is my second year a MVP - the Summit 2004 was in April, just a week before I got the award. Looks like it is a lot of fun, with lots of sessions and meetings with the group I work with (Windows Mobile Devices) plus meeting other MVPs that I have not met before.
The really cool thing is that I was planning to stop in Santa Clara (CA) on the way back to visit a good friend living there and teaching at the USC, and just last Friday I received the folder with information about this year's Wireless Connectivity Americas, 5 - 6 October in the Santa Clara Convention Center. Just around the corner from my friend's place and just a week after the Microsoft MVP Summit!
I have already contacted Informa Telecom and I will be attending this year's event. I have been to this event before when it was known as Bluetooth Americas. At that time it was in San Jose, still very close to Santa Clara. I wrote about that event (check Day 1 and Day 2).
I am already planning my trip with TripTracker. It is a cool software for Windows and Windows Mobile Pocket PC.
