Newsgator Enterprise Server Expanding
It's not every day we get to be in press releases, but Newsgator has just sent out information to the press about the success of their Newsgator Enterprise Server (NGES), quoting our review (the first one out about this platform!)

The platform is an in-house solution for companies wanting to manage RSS feeds acquisition and distribution. Newsgator implemented a very fine version of their web service and made it available so that companies can host it themselves, integrating with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.

The news is that over 20 companies around the world have implemented the platform already. This means those companies "get" RSS.

The quote from Geekzone is this:

"NGES is also gaining a great deal of attention from industry media and analysts. "RSS is rapidly being perceived by companies as an empowering format, one that allows the user total control over subscriptions, being pulled when needed, bringing corporate intelligence even closer to the knowledge workers around the enterprise," according to Mauricio Freitas of Geekzone. "The NewsGator Enterprise Server software is a robust solution that allows enterprises to bring this format closer to the people using the knowledge, maximizing the use of resources (users and groups management, feed organization, bandwidth optimization, time) while providing the maximum business intelligence possible."

You can read a lot more about this software in our NewsGator Enterprise Server Review.
